Every mother and father wants to see their daughter or son happy and this work contributes to that purpose. Each melody and the suggested actions are designed so that the baby receives a lot of affection from their parents and that they, in turn, enjoy those happy moments.

This book of learning Spanish through music includes 16 songs so that the mother, father, or both, will sing to their baby while they change their baby’s clothes, they bathe him or they cradle him; that is, while they perform all the actions of their baby’s care with love. We know that it is very important for babies to hear their parents’ voices and, even more, perceive affection and safety, especially during the early years of development.

While the baby is listening to the words pronounced in the recordings or expressed by their parent, the baby is assimilating the sounds, words and phrases of the Spanish language. That is to say, even if he is not yet able to speak, he is already retaining the tools of communication. This is possible because the conversational patterns of each melody are repeated over and over again along with the actions performed by the parents.

This first volume of songs for babies is followed by songs for children from 1 to 3 years of age and from prekindergarten to fifth grade.
